Recently, we managed the installation of a new public access defibrillator, and the project highlighted the critical need for specialist trades.
Defibrillators require a reliable power supply and real care with installation. The cabinets protect them from the British weather and debris while also housing the electricity needed to make sure they are always on and ready to use in emergencies. A small light is necessary, should the defibrillator be used in dark conditions, and the electrics must be specially installed so the emergency device can be used on demand without any issues.
