High Bay LED Lighting Upgrades for Warehouses & Units in Birmingham and Worcester.
With over 24 years of experience working in the electrical sector, Modern Lighting And Electrical a perfect for upgrading your warehouse / unit lighting.
High Bay lighting can become very expensive to run when the systems are not set up properly or with old technology lighting.
The easiest way to reduce your energy usage is to replace these old lights with new LED high bay fittings. The new technology of LED lighting will not just lower the energy cost to run these lights but also brighten up the area with a wider spread of a light.
Whether you would just like a direct replacement or you need a whole new system, this is something we can provide from start to finish. We work closely with our clients to design a lighting set up that is tailored to their individual needs.
Recent work
We have recently complete a job for a large warehouse supplier of wedding and formal wear.
There unit was a mixture of old fluorescent battens and high bay lighting. These were dull in their lighting output and they used a lot of electric through the day, if the lights were turned off accidentally then they needed time to cool down before they would activate again. Having dark areas for 10 minutes or more was very unproductive for our customer.
Along with the customer we designed the new lighting layout and switching possibilities.
We are fully insured and certified to use mobile access equipment, which was a must for this job as the lights were around 15m high.
The system was fully rewired by us and the old cables were removed so there was no future confusion for contractors finding old cables and not knowing what they do.
Due to the nature of the building the customer required a certain amount of emergency escape lighting to be included in the system. We wired these lights to include accessible key switches for routine maintenance and testing of the emergency lighting.
